Kristin Powell

Raised in central Arizona, she earned her degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University in 1988. Kristin began her career with a Big Eight accounting firm in Phoenix while attending college and continued there after graduation before relocating to Lincoln with her husband in 1990.

Kristin served as Controller for a manufacturing company for 19 years and later as Controller for a robotics company for seven years. Throughout her career, she also worked with local CPA firms during tax season, preparing and reviewing corporate and individual tax returns.

Her specialty areas include outsourced accounting and advisory services, as well as tax preparation for individuals and businesses. Kristin enjoys helping small businesses and charities develop accounting solutions and improve financial processes through her broad industry experience.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys traveling with her husband and family, along with baking and crafting with her grandchildren. She is also actively involved in her church community and has served on the Finance Committee for the School Board at Lincoln Christian School.
