Our 50th Anniversary!
2022 marked our 50th year in business, and like fine wine, we’re only getting better with time. Over the past 50 years, we’ve been fortunate enough to serve thousands of businesses in the Indianapolis community. Beyond the work we do for our clients, we’ve also made it our mission to give back to our community by participating on boards of NonProfits, foundations, and in community events, volunteering for theCPA Day of Service, and other community services to assist those in need.Exponential Expansion
Growth seemed to be our primary theme for 2022.
Last year, we joined forces with two outstanding Indianapolis-based firms. First, with the Lemler Group, LLC founded by David Lemler. Soon after that, with LaRosa & Co., LLC, a CPA firm that has served the Indianapolis community for over 45 years. The addition of those two stellar firms exponentially expanded our team and services enabling us to better serve our community.

We saw those values within the work, philosophy, and culture of both the Lemler Group and LaRosa & Co. Being able to unite with two firms that share our desire to create a culture that inspires the greater good in all of us and everyone we touch was essential in our decisions to merge.
We’re thrilled to have them aboard, and we can’t wait to see what new heights we’ll reach with our combined efforts.

New Partner
Jay Boughner became our newest Partner in 2023 after already holding down the weighty position of Director of Advisory Services for several years. Jay is an exceptional business strategist who is passionate about helping those in business attain success. We have no doubt that his promotion to Partner will be vital to the growth and success of Donovan.
Retirement
In 2022, we celebrated the retirement of Terry Woodrum. Though we’ll miss seeing him in the office, we’re thankful for the years he dedicated to our firm and clients. Not only an expert in his field, and valued friend, he made coming into the office a more joyful experience. We hope Terry enjoys his retirement to the fullest!
