Domestic violence is a prevalent issue in our society, and here at Donovan we not only don’t stand for it, we fight against it. This year the Donovan team joined the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence organization and participated in the 2016 34th Annual Fall Conference to fight against domestic violence.
The Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence is a group of individuals that strive to put a stop to domestic violence through programs and support agencies. They have five main areas of focus: prevention, legislative advocacy, public awareness, training and legal support.
Domestic violence is defined as behavior that results in gaining or maintaining power and control over an individual.
