This past Monday four members from the Donovan team competed in the Carolina Classic golf outing to support pediatric cancer research. The Caroline Symmes Cancer Endowment was created by David and Elizabeth Symmes in loving memory of their daughter who lost her battle to cancer when she was just five years old.
With only 4% of cancer research funding allocated to pediatrics, this foundation saw the need to raise money and awareness. They have a goal to reach 8 million dollars so another family does not have to endure a tragic loss. The Donovan team was happy to be a part of this worthy cause.
